Esther suggests that John was the eldest, but did not have clear evidence. There is a Henderson bible record in Wyoming that says that he is eldest. The bible belonged to Hyrum Henderson (about a greatgrandson to James/Hannah) and his son David of Burlington WY used this source to authenticate a family group sheet submitted to SLC Family Library about 25 yrs ago. It names these 5 children: John, Samuel, James,Nancy and Jane. It says John was born about 1778 in Knoxville, Greene O. TN. I am dubious about the place of birth, not the remainder.
