1843 - John Jr. & Mary Ann have daughter Elizabeth

1847 - John Henderson, Jr. dies but before he died he purchased the property adjoining with that of his father-in-law and put it in the names of his children: George W., James M., and Elizabeth. This indicates that John died before the birth of his fourth child, Almeda. John Henderson purchased this property from Susan & William Allen 28 July 1847: SE1/4 of NW1/4 SEC9 T34N R5E 40 acres. However there is a mystery as there was also a Land Patent that says that this same property was patented to Thomas C. Allen 1 March 1848. Cert. 10093

They are all living next door to a Nancy Alexander age 33, Mary Alexander age 41, Joseph age 9, Joseph A., ae 7, Gideon age 5, William age 2

1851 - Mary Ann Henderson Henderson marries Robert M. Markham

1852 - Mary Ann & Robert M. Markham have daughter M. Catherine

1855 - Jackson Markham is born

1855 - Probate proceedings start on John Henderson Jr.'s estate. His children also inherit his share of his father's, John Henderson Sr., estate.

1860 - Mary Ann & John Henderson Jr.'s children are living with their grandparents James & Hopy in St. Francois County, Mo. No others are listed in the household.

1863 - John Henderson Jr.'s estate is finalized.

1870 - Mary Ann & Robert M. Markham & their children plus an orphan boy that they took in are living in Greene County, Arkansas

1870 - Mary Ann & Robert are named in a dispute over some of the land that belonged to Mary Ann's father, James Henderson Jr.

James Monroe - Born 1842 in Missouri. Married Amanda (Mandy) E. Fong in 1863 in St. Francois County, Missouri. Went to Illinois & was residing there in 1866.

Elizabeth - Born 1843 in Missouri. She married Wm. C. Murray in 1864 in St. Francois County, Missouri.

Almeda - Born sometime after July 1847 in Missouri.
