BRINKER CABIN - Hwy. 8 in
Crawford County near Phelps County line. This cabin is rumored to be haunted. Grave
of murdered child is a few feet in back of cabin. Child was drowned by slave, Mary.

Red Bluff near Crawford/Dent
County line. There is a shallow creek near the base of the
bluff where I discovered a snake swallowing a frog. I picked up a small stick &
whacked the snake in his midsection & he spit the frog out. Then I whacked the
snake again & told him to go find his dinner somewhere else & he took off across
the creek & into the brush. That was one happy frog!
