Large brush fire, east side of Hwy. 21, approximately one mile north of BigRiver Bridge & Washington County line. Firefighting apparatus took up north bound lane of Hwy. 21 & very thick smoke blanketed the area. Traffic in southbound lane was backed up for miles for more than an hour. Snapped this picture from the cab of our pickup truck 12 November 1999. |
