From the deepest part of my heart I beg that we preserve as much as we can of Old St. Louis. Too quickly do we raze buildings that are a part of our history. Too quickly we forget the importance of ...from whence we came. Memories die with people ...Buildings can live on to tell the story. Please save the stories! Carolyn K. Bounds - St. Louis MO
NOTICE ABOUT CARROLLS CORNER: I have been doing genealogy research for over 40 years & I put blood, sweat, tears, heart & soul into my work, paid research expenses myself & have been generously sharing my research on CarrollsCorner since 1998 at no charge to the public. My husband & I are now elderly & retired with increasing expenses & decreased income which = too much month left at the end of the money. It is becoming more & more difficult to come up with the $$ to pay for the web space for this site so I am now requesting donations. If you use & enjoy CarrollsCorner please SEND A DONATION to help keep it on-line.
