With 5,000,000 square feet of floor space, it covers 52 city blocks.  It has an annual brewing capacity of 5,000,000 barrels of beer.  Esther Carroll's paternal grandfather was a machine oiler at Busch Brewery for many years.

The Arena circa 1952.  Attended many events here over the years. This beautiful building was razed in the 1990's to make room for a modern office building.
